IMPACT is a university-wide program at Purdue whose goal is to give an alternative to large lectures. MA 16200 IMPACT is a version of Calculus II which emphasizes active learning and extra time devoted to topics that many students have trouble with (such as word problems). Students watch video lectures on their own, then meet for weekly IMPACT sessions in which they work in groups to delve more deeply into the material.
