I am broadly interested in commutative algebra and its connections to algebraic geometry, combinatorics, and representation theory. Right now I am studying the Lefschetz properties, in particular for modules.
For those who want to learn more, here are my (handwritten) notes for an talk I gave in Purdue's grad student colloquium introducing the Lefschetz properties to a general audience (but a better resource is this survey article by Juan Migliore and Uwe Nagel).
I have written some code for Macaulay2 to test if a module has the weak or strong Lefschetz property. If you are interested, email me for the text.
